Dow is seeking a Business Development Specialist primarily based in Milan, Italy, with flexible options in Antwerp, Belgium, Seneffe, Belgium or Terneuzen, the Netherlands. The role focuses on identifying prospects, expanding the customer portfolio and leading opportunities toward commercialization while collaborating across functions to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Required are a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, strong experience in customer-facing roles, and English

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as listed or equivalent
• Relevant experience in a customer-facing commercial or technical role
• Proven ability to build and manage customer relationships and deliver commercial results
• Experience developing sales plans, managing opportunities and conducting commercial negotiations
• Experience in specialty chemicals or related markets preferred
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel; German language skills advantageous

Responsabilités

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through structured prospecting and market mapping
• Build and manage a healthy opportunity pipeline and qualify opportunities
• Grow the customer portfolio by developing accounts and expanding networks
• Advance opportunities through the sales process to negotiation, closure and implementation
• Execute sales plans aligned with marketing plans and provide sales forecasts with production and supply chain
