Job summary

SITA Group in Italy seeks a Bid Manager based in Truccazzano to lead end-to-end bid and proposal activities for unsolicited and RFP/RFQ opportunities. You will manage the Bid Team, analyze requirements, and ensure timely, high-quality customer deliverables.

The role requires a bachelor degree, 5+ years in bids/proposals, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with airport/airline operations. Starting salary around 40k EUR per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a numerate, business or languages discipline or significant relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within commercial industry, ideally IT, telecoms, air transport or managed services provision as Bid Manager or equivalent role.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience within the field of bids & proposals - in purchasing and/or sales - including exposure to the vendor side.
• Must have 2 years of Proposal Management, Bid Management experience.
• Relevant understanding of the airport and/or airline operation is an advantage.
• Experience in developing successful relationships at Senior Manager level.
• Clear understanding of proposal management processes including pre-proposal planning, strategy development and storyboarding, strategic proposal writing skills.
• Knowledgeable on MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Willingness to work in a dynamic, cross-functional and cross-culture team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Bid/Proposal activities for assigned opportunities.
• Coordinate and manage the proposal team and timelines.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality customer deliverables.
• Develop the overall bid project plan and virtual Bid Team.
• Review content for clarity and storytelling in proposals.
• Lead bid reviews and risk analysis.

Education

Bachelor degree in a numerate, business or languages discipline

5+ years of experience in commercial industry

Proposal Management, Bid Management experience

MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Airport and/or airline operation knowledge

Ability to coordinate multiple projects concurrently
