Job summary

Satispay is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to define the technical strategy for the Consumer Wealth domain and lead scalable backend systems powering wealth and savings features. You will mentor engineers, align across teams, and drive the technical vision in a fast-moving FinTech environment.

Proven Java backend expertise, experience with microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred) are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years in back-end software engineering in product-based companies.
• Proven experience architecting, building, and maintaining microservices and cloud environments.
• Deep Java experience with a strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS is a plus).
• Interest in financial products and wealth management systems.
• Structured, persuasive communication and ability to build cross-organizational trust.
• Thought leadership and ability to drive technical vision.
• Passion for FinTech or startup environments; English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical strategy for the Consumer Wealth domain and architect complex subsystems.
• Design and build scalable backend systems addressing wealth and savings features.
• Drive cross-organizational alignment and champion the technical vision.
• Develop future engineering leaders and promote high-quality practices.
