Qualifications

• Laurea in Informatica o equivalente o esperienza equivalente.
• 5+ anni in DevOps con esperienza hands-on in CI/CD, automazione, deployment e configurazione (GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab e strumenti simili).
• Esperienza nel deploy e nella configurazione di Java/Spring Boot all'interno di CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarità con ambienti containerizzati (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Esperienza con Grafana e Prometheus.
• Ottime capacità comunicative in inglese e italiano.

Responsibilities

• Progettare, implementare e mantenere CI/CD pipeline per lo sviluppo e la distribuzione di applicazioni web.
• Gestire e supportare l'ambiente di runtime dei microservizi Java/Spring Boot in ambienti containerizzati o virtualizzati.
• monitorare le prestazioni e la salute delle applicazioni con Prometheus, Grafana e strumenti di observability.
• Risoluzione di problemi di deploy e runtime tra sviluppo, staging e produzione.
• Collaborare con i team di sviluppo per garantire integrazione e delivery fluidi.
• Mantenere documentazione chiara e favorire la collaborazione con team internazionali e stakeholder.

Job Overview

For our Lugano Office, we are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in configuring and deploying Java/Spring boot-based applications to join our team for an exciting banking project. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the automation, reliability, and scalability of CI/CD pipelines supporting a complex banking web application. You'll play a key role in enabling fast and secure delivery of Java/Spring Boot services, working at the intersection of development, infrastructure, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the build, test, and deployment lifecycle of web applications


• Manage and support the runtime environment of Java/Spring Boot microservices in containerized or virtualized environments


• Monitor application performance and health using Prometheus, Grafana, and other observability tools


• Troubleshoot deployment and runtime issues across dev, staging, and production environments


• Work closely with development teams to understand integration needs and ensure seamless delivery pipelines


• Maintain clear documentation and foster active collaboration with international teams and stakeholders

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience


• About 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, with solid hands‑on experience in CI/CD, automation, deployment and configuration, using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab and similar technologies


• Experience deploying and configuring Java/Spring Boot web applications within CI/CD pipelines, with a good understanding of the development lifecycle and application deployment processes


• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)


• Hands‑on experience with Graphana and Prometheus


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian

Location Requirement

• We do not offer a fully remote work policy


• Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino (Switzerland)or Italian Border Towns (such as Como, Varese, etc.)


• Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy
