Job summary

Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel, in Taormina seeks a Staff House Coordinator for our new employee residence in Giardini Naxos. You will manage property operations and foster a welcoming, safe living experience for our seasonal team members.

Join a luxury hospitality group and contribute to seamless onboarding, room management, safety adherence, and coordination of maintenance and housekeeping across the staff residence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality operations, front office, housekeeping supervision, facility management, or residence/property coordination.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a diplomatic yet firm approach to enforcing internal rules.
• Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and composure when handling multiple internal requests.
• Knowledge of basic safety standards and facility maintenance tracking.
• Fluent in Italian and a good working knowledge of English to support our international team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage property surveillance and access control, ensuring cleanliness, order, and decorum of all common areas.
• Enforce internal house regulations and ensure compliance with Health & Safety guidelines.
• Coordinate pre-arrival preparations, including room inventories, and report maintenance or housekeeping needs.
• Lead the onboarding process for new colleagues, conduct property tours, explain house rules, and issue electronic key cards.
• Oversee departure process, re-inventory rooms, and report missing equipment or damages.
• Coordinate routine maintenance interventions and housekeeping shifts within the staff residence.
• Supervise waste management and recycling in line with Belmond sustainability policies.
• Manage internal parking, registry of authorized cars and scooters, and vehicle placement.
• Handle administrative duties, including electronic key card troubleshooting, lost and found, inspections, and communications boards.
