Jobgether SRL, in collaboration with a partner company, seeks a Staff Engineer – Pricing based in Italy to own the pricing backend for a modern energy transaction platform. You will build the Pricing API and enable secure, scalable third-party access while balancing performance, correctness, and reliability.

Qualificações

• Deep production experience with Python backend engineering and APIs.
• Proven ownership of production systems and senior escalation capability.
• Experience leading decoupling or migrations of live systems.
• Strong skills with FastAPI and SQL in data-heavy contexts.
• Ability to set tech direction across teams and negotiate ownership models.

Responsabilidades

• Build, evolve, and operate the Pricing API for third-party consumption.
• Lead extraction of pricing logic into a dedicated service.
• Manage architectural migrations while protecting functionality.
• Design monitoring and alerting for pricing reliability.
• Be a senior technical authority in pricing domain.
• Collaborate across teams to improve development throughput with AI workflows
