Job summary

Deel is seeking a Senior Tech Lead for US Payroll in Modena, Italy. You will architect and scale an enterprise-grade platform serving SMBs to large enterprises, partnering with the Director of Engineering to shape architecture and drive key decisions.

You will mentor engineers, establish metrics, and drive improvements across multiple teams while balancing delivery with long-term health in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven leadership in organizations with 30+ engineers.
• Strong system design and architecture skills.
• Excellence in technical communication and documentation.
