Job summary

Jobgether is partnering with a mission-driven organization to hire an AI/ML Engineer based in Italy for fully remote work. You will design, build, evaluate, deploy, and iterate on AI-powered applications used in healthcare, agriculture, education, and international development.

You will collaborate with behavioral scientists and field engineers to translate research into reliable, scalable products, mentor partner staff, and contribute to open-source evaluation tooling while advancing

Qualifications

• Strong foundations in mathematics, deep learning, and large language models (LLMs).
• Hands-on experience delivering end-user AI products powered by deep learning.
• Proficiency in Python and hands-on implementation.
• Experience building LLM-powered applications and evaluating AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, evaluate, deploy, and improve production-ready ML systems and AI-powered applications.
• Contribute to open-source AI evaluation infrastructure and tools.
• Collaborate with researchers, behavioral scientists, and engineers to translate research into scalable products.
• Develop evaluation methods, datasets, and performance metrics for AI systems.
• Mentor partner organizations and help strengthen responsible AI practices.
