BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E) in Milan, Italy, is hiring a Staff Accountant to manage invoicing, payments, collections, and final billings for events. You’ll work closely with program managers and management to keep project financials accurate and compliant, handling AP/AR and vendor onboarding in bill.com and related tools.

The role requires prior accounting experience, a degree in accounting or related field, and strong English communication.

Qualifikationen

• Previous accounting experience in A/P, A/R, and client billing/collections is required.
• Bachelor’s or associate Degree in accounting or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Accounting software experience a plus – bill.com, Xero, SAP, Expensify.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Travel industry/hotel/ meetings & events experience a plus.

Aufgaben

• Establish and fulfill deposit and billing schedule with Ops team for each project.
• Reconcile all vendor invoices against billing documents and agreements.
• Resolve client billing discrepancies working closely with the Account Executive and Program Manager.
• Onboard new vendors into our payment tools (collecting paperwork, adding to bill.com, etc.).
• Prepare weekly Accounts Receivable Detail report and share with BCD accounting team.
• Assist in month end and year end management.
