Jameel Motors Italy is seeking a proactive and analytical Spare Parts & Supply Chain Specialist to manage end-to-end parts logistics from forecasting to distribution. You will ensure spare parts availability supports workshop operations and delivers an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with central supply chain teams, logistics partners, and service centres to ensure timely flow of parts across the network in Italy. Hybrid work model in Rome is offered.

Competenze

• Experience in spare parts, inventory control, demand planning and logistics operations.
• Experience within an OEM, importer, or automotive distributor environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage external supplier relationships.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for operational excellence and customer-centricity.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; fluent in Italian and English; Chinese a plus.

Job Summary

Jameel Motors Italy is seeking a proactive and analytical Spare Parts & Supply Chain Specialist.

This role will play a key part in managing the end-to-end parts logistics process — from forecasting and procurement to distribution and stock control. You will ensure that spare parts availability and supply chain performance support both workshop operations and an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate will work closely with central supply chain teams, logistics partners, and service centres to ensure the timely and efficient flow of parts across the network.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the ordering, inventory management, and distribution of spare parts across Jameel Motors Italy’s retail and service network.


• Monitor parts availability and delivery timelines to ensure optimal service levels and customer satisfaction.


• Collaborate with internal teams and external logistics providers to manage supply chain operations efficiently.


• Forecast parts demand based on vehicle parc, service trends, and market data.


• Support the Aftersales Director in building and maintaining KPIs and dashboards for supply chain performance.


• Coordinate with Geely’s central logistics and supply chain departments to align processes and resolve bottlenecks.


• Ensure compliance with warranty, return, and recall procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Academic background in Economics, Engineering, or related field.


• 2-3 years of experience in spare parts, inventory control, demand planning, and logistics operations.


• Experience within an OEM, importer, or automotive distributor environment.


• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.


• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage external supplier relationships.


• A proactive mindset with a passion for operational excellence and customer-centricity.


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.


• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.


• Fluent in Italian and English, Chinese fluency will be a plus.
