Job summary

Argotec S.r.l. is seeking a Platform Systems Engineer to join its Systems Engineering Unit for Small Satellite platforms. You will focus on system architecture, requirements, and lifecycle across design, tests, and operations.

You will collaborate with international teams, ensure compliance with ECSS and other standards, and contribute to mission concepts of operations while supporting AIT/AIV and qualification activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Aerospace or Space Engineering or related technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within space field.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• High flexibility and team-working capability.
• Hands-on and proactive approach.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage system- and subsystem-level design activities across the project lifecycle.
• Define and manage technical requirements and specifications for the spacecraft.
• Support the definition of Mission Concepts of Operations and Mission profiles.
• Develop, support and review system analyses and budgets.
• Perform FMEA analyses, leading to FDIR development.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports and notes.
• Support AIT, AIV and qualification activities at system or subsystem levels.
• Interface with Quality and partake in NRB/NCR processes and configuration control.
