Job summary

Argotec is seeking a Space Missions Engineer to join its Systems Engineering Unit in Italy. You will lead end-to-end space missions, coordinating interfaces among Space, Ground and Launch segments with a hands-on, proactive approach.

Required is a Master’s in Aerospace/Space Engineering and 5+ years in space projects, plus excellent English and ability to collaborate with cross-functional, international teams. Hybrid work policy and professional growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Aerospace, Space Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar space projects role.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Hands-on and proactive approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development and coordination of space projects from phase A to E.
• Manage the technical project schedule using JIRA and MS Project.
• Coordinate with Technical Team, Program Manager and Product Assurance Manager.
• Interface with Platform Systems Engineering, V&V, and AIT engineering.
• Define, manage and review technical requirements and specs.
• Support Mission Concepts of Operations and Mission profiles.
• Collaborate with procurement to align mission needs.
• Contribute to system engineering plans, development and verification plans.
• Supervise technical reviews and data packages delivery to customers and suppliers.
• Engage in QA/PA activities including NRB/NCR and configuration control.
