D-Orbit in Italy is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex space logistics projects, coordinating internal teams and external subcontractors to meet scope, time, budget, and quality targets.

The role requires balancing requirements, risks, and stakeholder expectations while optimizing resources and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory standards. A strong track record in project leadership and subcontractor management is essential.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or related field.
2–3 years of project management experience.
Track record in multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Proven ability to deliver on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Experience in subcontractor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management.
Risk and issue management with mitigation skills.
Financial and commercial acumen including budgeting and cost control.
Deep knowledge of AI tools.

Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Secure approvals and resources for project initiation and execution.
Monitor progress against milestones and adjust plans as needed.
Ensure deliverables meet quality, technical, and contractual standards.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard subcontractors based on requirements and compliance.
Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements, ensuring alignment with scope and regulatory requirements.
Monitor subcontractor performance, deliverables, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to subcontractor dependencies.
Serve as the primary liaison between subcontractors and internal teams, escalating issues as needed.
Act as the primary client liaison, providing updates and managing expectations.
Track and control project budgets and forecasts, including subcontractor costs.
Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability.
Maintain project documentation including change logs and governance records.
Capture lessons learned and drive process improvements.
Foster a high-performance culture across all teams.
