The Mira Alagna Mountain Resort & Spa, part of the DSR Hotel Holding group, seeks a Spa Beautician – Beauty Therapist to join from December 2026. Reporting to the Spa Manager, you will deliver facial and body treatments, greet guests with courtesy, and promote spa services, while ensuring cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in spa settings, knowledge of massage and lymphatic drainage, and fluency in Italian with working English.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ proven experience in spa/beauty roles.
• In-depth knowledge of facial and body treatments, including massage and skin care.
• Proficiency in using spa products and maintaining hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage bookings with discretion and a sales-oriented approach.
• Perform facial and body treatments, following standardised protocols.
• Promote hotel spa products and services to guests.

The Mira Alagna Mountain Resort & Spa, part of the international DSR Hotel Holding group, is a 4-star hotel situated in Alagna Valsesia, near Monte Rosa, with two tourist seasons: during the winter season, from December to March, the hotel is a leading destination for a holiday dedicated to snow sports and relaxation in the spa; during the summer season, from June to September, it is the ideal place for those seeking a rejuvenating escape into nature and for those who love hiking with breathtaking views of the mountains.

For the coming seasons, we are looking for a SPA Beautician – Beauty Therapist to join our team from December 2026.

Responsibility

Reporting to the Spa Manager, you will work to ensure the spa’s operational excellence and full customer satisfaction by welcoming guests with courtesy and discretion and adopting a sales-oriented, advisory approach, whilst carrying out the requested treatments with professionalism and reliability, ensuring that the premises and equipment meet the standards of tidiness, cleanliness and hygiene set by the company.

• They assist with managing bookings and scheduling treatment times.
• They offer guests a discreet and personalised welcome, listening to their needs and recommending the most suitable products and treatments.
• Performs facial and body treatments and massages in accordance with standardised protocols and to a high technical standard.
• Is familiar with and promotes the products, services, facilities, events, rates and policies of the spa and the hotel
• Carries out the payment procedures defined by the company correctly.
• Ensures tidiness and hygiene throughout all areas of the spa (changing rooms, treatment rooms, relaxation areas), assisting with cleaning, sanitisation and checking that instruments and equipment are in working order, in accordance with the protocols defined by the company.
• Assists with restocking towels and bathrobes and reports any need for replenishment.
• Is able to anticipate and respond to guests’ requests and complaints promptly, courteously and efficiently, and immediately reports any potential or actual complaints to the Spa Manager or the General Manager.

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ proven experience in this role within wellness centres, hotel spas, beauty salons and wellness centres;
• In-depth knowledge of manual techniques for slimming and firming treatments and lymphatic drainage, as well as knowledge of cosmetology, anatomy, physiology, dermatology, beauty massage, make-up and facial styling;
• Proficiency in carrying out all treatments featured on a wellness centre’s price list (manicures, pedicures, hair removal, massages, facial and body treatments);
• Confidentiality, discretion, precision and punctuality, attention to detail, a focus on the customer and the quality of service in the spa, an interest in keeping up to date with new trends in the sector, and a predisposition for teamwork;
• Attention to personal appearance and hygiene;
• Fluency in Italian and a working knowledge of English;
• Basic IT skills;
• Flexibility regarding working hours and willingness to work at weekends or on public holidays, if necessary.

Offer

• Seasonal employment contract with a gross annual salary of €23,000.00 – €25,000.00 and a pay grade to be determined on the basis of experience and skills acquired, in accordance with the applicable national collective labour agreement;
