The Mira Alagna Mountain Resort & Spa in Alagna Valsesia seeks a Maintenance Assistant to join our team from December 2026. The role focuses on upkeep of guest rooms, spa and common areas, with hands-on work across electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks.

Responsibilities include inspecting systems, reporting faults, minor repairs, painting and assisting with event setups. Accommodation and meals are offered as part of the package.

Competenze

• At least 1 year in a maintenance role in a hotel or similar setting.
• Experience with electrical and plumbing systems preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and basic first aid is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Maintain guest rooms, communal areas and spa through routine and non-routine upkeep.
• Inspect electrical, plumbing, ventilation and air-conditioning systems; report faults and perform minor repairs.
• Carpentry and painting tasks to keep premises and furnishings in good condition.
• Provide technical support for setting up meeting rooms and events on site.
• Collaborate with external contractors as needed.

The Mira Alagna Mountain Resort & Spa, part of the international DSR Hotel Holding group, is a 4-star hotel situated in Alagna Valsesia, near Monte Rosa, with two tourist seasons: during the winter season, from December to March, the hotel is a leading destination for a holiday dedicated to snow sports and moments of relaxation in the spa; during the summer season, from June to September, it is the ideal place for those seeking a rejuvenating escape into nature and for those who love hiking with breathtaking views of the mountains.

For the coming seasons, we are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team from December 2026.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will work proactively on routine and non-routine maintenance of the guest rooms, communal areas and the spa area
• You will inspect the electrical, plumbing, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, reporting any faults and carrying out minor repairs and maintenance as agreed with the Maintenance Manager
• Ensure the proper upkeep of premises, furnishings and equipment by carrying out painting and carpentry work
• Provides technical support in setting up meeting rooms and during events organised on-site
• Collaborates with external contractors

Requirements

• At least 1 year’s proven experience in the role, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel
• Diploma or professional qualification as an electrician and/or plumber/heating engineer
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations; possession of valid fire safety and/or first aid training certificates is an advantage
• Good manual dexterity in the use of work equipment and tools
• Ability to quickly identify and report faults, and a proactive approach to resolving minor issues
• Problem-solving skills, precision, reliability and a team-oriented approach
• Flexibility regarding working hours and willingness to work shifts, including Sundays and public holidays
• Category B driving licence
