Job summary

Baker Hughes invites students or recent graduates to join its Global Supplier Execution internship within GTS, offering hands‑on experience across direct materials, supplier coordination, and project delivery.

You will work with diverse teams, gain exposure to HS&E standards, and develop skills in Excel and ERP systems while contributing to on-time delivery and procurement initiatives. This role includes mentoring and a buddy system, with flexible options in Italy.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled or recently graduated in a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Strong English written and spoken communication.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new products and business areas.
• Proactive, collaborative, and resilient in a high‑pressure environment.
• Legally eligible to work in Italy without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
• Learning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders.
• Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Managing delivery of materials for the assigned Suppliers, monitoring the production plan and coordinating Logistics until receiving into the systems.
• Giving visibility to Internal Customer on Supplier plan, prioritising and preventing criticalities.
• Cooperating with Suppliers, Service Fulfillment, Manufacturing Operations and Quality to define recovery plans.
• Supporting Suppliers execution, keeping key metrics updated, coordinating with Material Management for Inventory/Sales plans.
