Job summary

Baker Hughes is offering a structured Internship Program in Italy for current students or recent graduates in engineering, supply chain management, or economics. You will participate in focused training, work on meaningful projects, and present your results while receiving mentoring from a manager and buddy.

You will gain exposure to HS&E culture, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop skills in data analytics, procurement, and digital tools.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or recent graduate in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Economics.
• GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills and structured problem solving.
• Fluent in Italian and English, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• EU work permit and ability to work in Italy without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
• Learn internal software to assist with project tasks.
• Contribute to cross-functional continuous improvement events focused on streamlining engineering and procurement processes.
• Apply HS&E standards and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Drive supplier performance analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery reliability.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on root cause investigations and corrective actions to meet OTD targets.
