Jingdong Logistics is seeking a Sorting Center Manager in Milan to lead daily operations of the sorting center, ensuring timely processing of parcels and high service levels.

You will supervise staff, optimize workflows, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with transportation, warehousing, and customer service to deliver reliable, scalable logistics solutions. This role requires a strong background in logistics and leadership.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in logistics or warehouse management with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience optimizing operational efficiency and managing large teams.

Mansioni

• Oversee daily operations of the sorting center, including inbound/outbound processing, sorting, packing, and loading of parcels.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize workflow, improve efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining high service levels.
• Manage, train, and mentor a team of sorting center staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Monitor KPIs such as sorting accuracy, processing speed, and delivery success rates, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and quality control standards.
• Collaborate with transportation, warehousing, and customer service to ensure seamless logistics operations.
• Manage inventory of sorting supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper maintenance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare regular reports on center performance, challenges, and proposed solutions for senior management.
• Handle and resolve operational issues, escalating complex problems to relevant stakeholders.
