GEODIS is seeking a Solution Design Engineer in Lombardia, Milano to analyze customer needs from tenders and direct contacts, ensuring compliance with technical and economic clauses and profitability. You will collaborate with Operations to discuss processes and with other functions to confirm costs, then develop technical/commercial offers using Geodis tools.

Responsibilities include summarizing the solution in a technical presentation for each tender and maintaining strong English

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the role.
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive environments is a plus.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCAD.

Solution Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• analyze the needs of the potential customer through the study of the tender documents or direct contact with the counterparty;
• verify and guarantee compliance with technical and economic clauses and/or constraints, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with the best expected profitability in compliance with company policies;
• discuss existing processes with figures belonging to the Operations area;
• discuss with other company functions to confirm/request costs for services/tools; necessary for the development of the offer;
• develop technical/commercial offers using specific Geodis tools;
• summarize in a technical presentation the solution identified for each tender carried out.

Requirements:

• MSC in Management, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent;
• At least 3 years of prior experience in the role;
• previous experience in manufacturing or automotive environments, is considered a plus;
• Excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel, Power Point and AutoCAD.
• Precision, an analytical approach, and proactivity;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
• annual salary expected in a range between €45.000 and €50.000
