G.D S.p.A, part of the Coesia group, is seeking an Import/Export professional to manage domestic and international shipments from Bologna. You will work across Logistics, Packaging, Sales and Finance to ensure accurate documentation, invoicing and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Import/Export within international freight forwarders or logistics providers, strong English, SAP experience, and familiarity with Incoterms. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Competenze

• At least 5 years of solid experience in Import/Export activities, preferably with international freight forwarders or structured logistics providers.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

About the Role

The successful candidate will join the Import Export Department, where they will be responsible for the operational management of domestic and international shipments. They will work closely with the Logistics, Packaging, Sales and Finance departments on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate will have gained significant experience working for an international freight forwarder or structured logistics operator, and will have a thorough understanding of the different modes of transport.

Main Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate domestic and international shipments.
• Manage import/export and customs documentation.
• Prepare export invoices and customs documentation.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.
• Collaborate with the Packaging Department to define shipping methods and packaging specifications.
• Work closely with the Sales Department to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and delivery deadlines.
• Collaborate with the Finance Department on the administrative and fiscal aspects of shipping operations.
• Use SAP for operational shipment management, documentation, invoicing and the proper storage of data and company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company procedures relating to international trade flows.

What You Need to Be Successful

• At least 5 years of solid experience in Import/Export activities, preferably gained within international freight forwarders or structured logistics providers.
• In-depth knowledge of shipping activities, including:
• Express shipments
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of one or more additional foreign languages is considered a plus.
• Good knowledge of international trade documentation flows and procedures.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures.
• Experience in the automatic machinery, plant engineering, or capital equipment sectors.

Our Offer

Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 36.000, in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role.

A range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy.

The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.
