Job summary

Metlen Energy & Metals in Italy is seeking an O&M Technician to join the M Renewables team. You will perform day‑to‑day maintenance to ensure reliable operation of solar PV plants and assist in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on site.

You will travel regularly to plant locations, work remotely as required, and use the CMMS and internal tools to maintain logs and reports. A Technical Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, 1–2 years’ related experience, and fluent Italian

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in maintenance or troubleshooting of solar PV plants.
Basic PV systems knowledge (inverters, trackers, MV/LV equipment).
Hands-on electrical experience.
Diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on solar PV plants.
Assist in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues; escalate complex faults.
Monitor plant performance indicators and ensure safety procedures.
Maintain maintenance logs and update technical reports and backups.
Support spare parts handling and assist external contractors on site.
Use CMMS and internal tools per procedures.
Travel regularly to various solar plant locations and work remotely as required.
