Job summary

Ayana Hospitality in Italy is seeking a proactive Tradesman – Solar Panel to support the operation and maintenance of the resort’s PV generation system. You will assist with installation, inspection, monitoring, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar panels and related components at the resort site.

The role requires familiarity with electrical and mechanical tasks, ability to read drawings, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.
Previous experience in installation, maintenance, construction, electrical, mechanical, or renewable energy work is preferred.
Basic understanding of photovoltaic or solar panel systems and DC/AC electrical systems.
Ability to read basic work drawings, wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical instructions.

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation of solar panels, mounting structures, inverters, cables, connectors, grounding systems, and related components.
Perform basic mechanical and electrical work within the assigned level of competence.
Read and understand basic work drawings, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions.
Assist with cable installation, routing, securing, labeling, and protection.
Assist with cable termination, connector installation, grounding connections, and protection devices.
