Job summary
ACM Staffing is seeking experienced photovoltaic field technicians to join a growing team in Italy. The role focuses on hands-on work at solar plants in Emilia-Romagna, performing installation, commissioning, testing, and ongoing maintenance to ensure peak performance.
Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of PV experience, electrical certifications, and familiarity with inverters, transformers, and LV/HV systems. Italian fluency is essential; travel across sites is expected.
Qualifications
- Electrical qualification or equivalent certification required.
- PV system experience 2–3 years preferred.
- Knowledge of inverters, transformers and distribution systems.
- Fluent Italian; English preferred for technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission and test utility-scale PV plants.
- Connect solar panels, inverters and electrical components.
- System integration and grid connection procedures.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Monitor performance and identify optimization areas.
- Provide technical support to operations team.
- Report issues and propose solutions.
