Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is looking for an intern to join our Italian Branch in Milan within the Site Investigation and Remediation team. The role involves supporting report writing, data evaluation, and field observation of groundwater and soil sampling.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, is proficient in English (B2/C1), and has knowledge of GIS tools and groundwater modelling. Travel and international collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in environmental engineering, Environmental sciences, Geology or other relevant disciplines.
Familiarity with environmental regulation related to soil & groundwater characterization and remediation.
Good knowledge of Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Proficiency in English, written and spoken (level B2/C1).
Knowledge of another European language is a plus.
Experience with GIS software and groundwater modelling software (MODFLOW/FEFLOW) is a plus.
Willingness to travel and to work in an international environment, team player attitude and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Support the team in writing high-quality reports for Clients.
Be involved in environmental data evaluation and visualization.
Occasional field visits to observe groundwater and soil sampling activities.
Contribute to projects related to sustainable water use in industrial processes.
