Max-Mara-Fashion-Group in Emilia-Romagna is seeking a Software Engineer to design and deliver ICT solutions that meet internal customer requirements, ensuring maximum functionality and efficiency.

You will plan detailed solutions, develop components, create prototypes, document outcomes, and support end users and the Help Desk as needed. Strong experience with Python, SQL, Java, and English (minimum B2) is required, with a focus on AI-enabled workflows.

The Software Engineer is responsible for creating ICT solutions that comply with the internal customer's requirements, guaranteeing maximum functionality and efficiency. The core responsibilities of the role are: planning and designing the solution in detail; developing and engineering solution components; creating prototypes and solutions that end users will employ; formalizing and documenting solutions; supporting, where necessary, beyond the first level (Help desk).

Qualifications

• 1.01 Understands internal customer requirements and how these translate into application functionality
• 1.02 Collaborates with other IT professionals to define technical specifications and feasibility estimates
• 1.03 Create mockups and prototypes in accordance with the outlined specifications
• 1.04 Participate in the entire software life cycle by developing individual components and/or entire features
• 1.05 Writes quality code according to standards and using shared tools
• 1.06 Performs pre-release testing and code review activities in order to guarantee shared quality standards

Additional Information

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• AI & Innovation: Strong interest in and knowledge of modern development workflows powered by LLMs and AI.
• Programming Skills: Excellent proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, or other major programming languages.
• Language Skills: Good command of English (minimum B2 level
