Job summary

Alpitronic seeks a Software Developer focused on Cybersecurity Hardening to remediate embedded software vulnerabilities. You will partner with product managers and engineering teams to triage, address, and validate fixes with high-quality, well-documented code changes.

You will fix vulnerabilities across embedded codebases, contribute in agile sprints, and ensure robust security controls. Fluent English is expected; Italian or German knowledge is a plus, and our teams are based in Bolzano/Bozen

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Informatics or Electrical Engineering or comparable field.
• Significant experience programming microcontrollers and PLAs.
• Strong knowledge of C and C++ programming languages.
• Good understanding of embedded Linux environments.
• Experience in developing network applications.
• Independent, solution-oriented working attitude.
• Analytical thinking and meticulous work style with problem-solving mindset.
• Proactive approach and ability to work autonomously.
• Fluent English; Italian or German knowledge is a plus.
