Job summary

Ecolab invites applications for a Site Supervisor to oversee the proper installation of high-purity water and wastewater treatment systems at construction sites worldwide. The role is anchored at Raaba-Grambach near Graz, with global site oversight and multi-month international assignments.

The ideal candidate has pipe fitting training or a technical qualification, several years in plant construction, and experience with piping materials such as PVC, PP, PE, PVDF and stainless steel.

Qualifications

• Completed training as a pipe fitter or technical qualification.

• Experience with water treatment systems is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills.
• Independent, conscientious and proactive working style.
• Willingness to undertake international assignments up to 90%.
• Very good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of the installation of water treatment systems on site from start to handover.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and issue resolution during installation.
• Coordinate construction sites with customers.
• Ensure compliance with site regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate and regularly report to the Project Manager.
• Prepare site documentation.
• Execute and document tests and inspections.
• Organize and coordinate external service providers on site.

Job description

As a Site Supervisor (m/f/d), you are responsible for supervising the proper installation of high‑purity water and wastewater treatment systems at our construction sites worldwide. Administrative coordination is carried out from the Raaba‑Grambach location (near Graz).

Your Contribution At Ecolab

• Supervision of the installation of water treatment systems on site, from project start through handover to the commissioning team
• Technical support as well as troubleshooting, problem analysis and resolution of issues arising during installation
• Coordination of construction sites with our customers
• Ensuring compliance with site regulations and quality standards for Ovivo by Ecolab systems
• Coordination and regular reporting to the responsible Project Manager
• Preparation of site documentation
• Execution and documentation of all required tests and inspections
• Organization and coordination of external service providers on site

Your Profile

• Completed training as a pipe fitter or a technical qualification with professional experience in piping construction; further training as a technician, master craftsman or equivalent
• Several years of professional experience in plant construction and installation of piping systems made of materials such as PVC, PP, PE, PVDF, stainless steel
• Experience in the installation of water treatment systems is an advantage
• Ability to set priorities under high workload, make on‑site decisions, and remain flexible under changing conditions
• Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills in customer interaction and teamwork
• Independent, conscientious and proactive working style
• Willingness to undertake international, multi‑month assignments abroad (up to 90%)
• Very good command of English
