PALFINGER MARINE in Livorno, Italy, seeks a skilled service engineer to deliver maintenance, commissioning, and inspection services for lifeboat and davit/winch systems worldwide.

You will troubleshoot, report, and coordinate with customers and Service Management while traveling internationally to support offshore, cruise, navy, and wind projects.

Competenze

• Technical background in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical engineering with service experience.
• Experience in marine/offshore environments is a strong advantage.
• Offshore certifications (or willingness to obtain them).
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally for assignments.

Mansioni

• Deliver service, maintenance, commissioning, and inspections for lifeboats and davit/winch systems globally.
• Execute testing, troubleshooting, and repairs while ensuring compliance with HSE, quality standards, and regulations.
• Prepare service reports, perform safe job analysis, and track job progress with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate directly with customers and Service Management on project status and technical feedback.
• Collaborate closely with the Service Manager to achieve operational targets and continuous improvement.
