Job summary

RE:LAB s.r.l. is seeking a Service Design Intern to contribute to service innovation and user-centered design projects. You will assist research, analysis, and design activities aimed at understanding user needs and improving experiences, processes, and interactions.

The role offers the chance to apply service design methodologies within multidisciplinary teams of designers, researchers, engineers, and innovation specialists. Start date is flexible based on availability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Service Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, or related disciplines.
• Interest in user research, innovation, and experience design.
• Ability to analyze information and synthesize complex concepts.
• Good visual communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with design and collaboration tools.
• Curiosity, creativity, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support research and service design activities within innovation projects.
• Analyze user needs, behaviors, and experiences through qualitative and quantitative research.
• Contribute to the definition of user journeys, service blueprints, personas, and experience maps.
• Support identification of opportunities for improving services, processes, and user experiences.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, workshops, and collaborative design activities.
• Contribute to the development of service concepts and innovative solutions.
• Organize, synthesize, and visualize research findings and project information.
• Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on research, design, and innovation initiatives.
