Job summary

Wood is seeking a Senior Technical Safety Engineer to join its Projects – Process and Chemical Team in Corsico (Milan). The role involves leading HAZID/HAZOP studies and safety reviews, coordinating with clients and internal teams.

You will manage technical safety studies across refinery, petrochemical, pharma projects, with hybrid working up to two days per week and occasional travel abroad to client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience chairing HAZID/HAZOP studies and leading safety reviews.
• Strong ability to coordinate safety studies across multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical safety aspects, studies and workshops across projects.
• Lead HAZOPs and safety reviews at Client premises or via remote collaboration.
• Coordinate with Technical Safety Department Manager and project teams.

The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week and with the possibility of short trips abroad, to lead / participate to HAZOPs and / or safety reviews at Client premises.

Thesuccessful candidate will takeresponsibility for managing Technical Safety aspects, studies, and workshops in a wide range of Projects (Refinery, Petrochemical, Pharma, etc.) under coordination of the Technical Safety Department Manager.
