Job summary

Woodplc is seeking a Technical Safety Engineer to join its Projects – Process and Chemical Team in Corsico (Milan) with hybrid working and occasional trips abroad to lead HAZOPs and safety reviews at client premises.

The successful candidate will manage Technical Safety studies and workshops across refinery, petrochemical, pharma, and other projects, reporting to the Technical Safety Department Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience chairing HAZID/HAZOP sessions in process/chemical projects.
• Proven ability to lead safety studies and workshops for large-scale projects.
• Strong coordination with safety teams and client sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Safety studies and workshops across projects (refinery, petrochemical, pharma).
• Chair HAZID/HAZOP sessions and safety reviews under guidance of the Safety Manager.
• Coordinate with the Projects – Process and Chemical Team and client premises.

Wood is looking for a Technical Safety Engineer with proven experience in chairing HAZID and HAZOP to join its Projects – Process and Chemical Team. The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week and with the possibility of short trips abroad, to lead / participate to HAZOPs and / or safety reviews at Client premises.

The Role

Thesuccessful candidate will takeresponsibility for managing Technical Safety aspects, studies, and workshops in a wide range of Projects (Refinery, Petrochemical, Pharma, etc.) under coordination of the Technical Safety Department Manager.
