Wood is recruiting for a Project Engineer to join its Projects line, focusing on EPC of complex plants in chemical, petrochemical and energy sectors. Based in Corsico (Milan) with hybrid work up to two days per week.

The role includes preparing multidisciplinary documents, coordinating with engineering teams, attending client reviews, and providing on-site technical support during erection. International mobility is essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend technical project reviews with Client (P&ID, HAZOP, 3D model) and ensure Client comments are captured in the design.
• Assist Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineering Manager in coordinating the engineering team.
• Be assigned to construction sites to provide technical assistance during erection of the plant.

Job description

Wood is recruiting for a Project Engineer to join its Projects business line focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Energy industries. The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.

The Role

You will prepare key multidisciplinary documents which require interaction with several technical disciplines and will assist the Senior Project Engineer or the Project Engineering Manager in the coordination of the engineering team. You will attend technical project reviews with Client, such as P&ID review, HAZOP, 3D model review, and ensure all Client’s comments will be captured in the design. You will also be assigned to construction site, to give technical assistance during the erection of the plant.
