Outmatic is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our Technology department in Bologna. This hybrid role requires in-office presence two days a week to coordinate delivery and ensure quality across teams.

You'll lead timely project delivery, manage stakeholders, and align Product and Tech teams. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in project management, strong English skills, and hands-on experience with Jira and Agile practices.

We're looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our client’s Technology department in the offices based in Bologna.

This hybrid collaboration requires presence in the office for 2 days per week.

What you'll actually do

You will be responsible for the timely delivery of the activity in charge of the teams, ensuring quality and stakeholder satisfaction. As a Project Manager, you will oversee meeting project deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and summarizing progress, and providing status reports for upper management. The successful candidate will work directly with teams and stakeholders to ensure that project deliverables fall within the applicable scope.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication and collaboration among teams involved in a project to coordinate the release of features.
• Coordinate with different teams to set out the release plan, taking into account priorities set, team capacity, and dependencies among teams.
• Ensure alignment among Stakeholders, the Product Team, and Tech Teams.
• Manage project changes the Teams will be involved in to ensure efficiency
• Identify obstacles and help the teams to overcome them
• Report on the progress status of team activities and the impact on the delivery plan, highlighting issues, risks, dependencies, and monitoring project cost.
• Own the relationship with stakeholders and be the direct escalation point for issues raised.
• Promote and support continuous improvement of teams’ internal processes and workflows.

Technical skills we genuinely need

• 6 years of experience as a project manager.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in software engineering or a related field.
• Strong verbal communication skills to proficiently interact with different teams and
• roles, as well as good written communication skills to create detailed reports.
• Ability to identify the needs of technical and business stakeholders and to interpret them. Flexibility and ability to manage stakeholders’ expectations.
• Ability to facilitate difficult discussions among the teams or with other stakeholders.
• Being well-organized and good at managing multiple projects in parallel.
• Strong organizational and relational skills, able to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and work under pressure.
• Demonstrated proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving with a clear sense of priority, reliability and accuracy.
• High level of independence and sense of responsibility, along with a dynamic and enthusiastic approach to tasks.
• Excellent level of written and spoken English.
• Experience with JIRA and experience in agile development practices is a plus.
