HCLTech cerca Senior System, DevOps & Software Engineer per guidare architetture cloud-native, DevOps e trasformazioni digitali in progetti Telco & Media. Ruolo in Milano con focus su Microservices, Kubernetes e IaC.

Il candidato ideale possiede 10+ anni in ingegneria software/DevOps, competenze su Java/Python/JavaScript e esperienza con Docker/Kubernetes sui principali cloud. Ruolo permanente a tempo pieno, sede Milano.

Competenze

• 10–12+ anni di esperienza in Software/DevOps/Systems Engineering o ruoli correlati.
• Esperienza pratica in Microservices, REST APIs ed event-driven systems.
• Conoscenza di Docker, Kubernetes e servizi Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Ottima padronanza di Linux e networking.
• Relational databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server o MySQL.
• Metodologie Agile e buone pratiche di delivery.

Mansioni

• Progettare, sviluppare e mantenere soluzioni software sicure e scalabili.
• Architettare e implementare applicazioni cloud-native e piattaforme basate su microservizi.
• Sviluppare e automatizzare pipeline CI/CD con pratiche DevOps moderne.
• Gestire infrastrutture on-premises e in cloud.
• Amministrare e rafforzare ambienti Linux e supportare operazioni di rete.

Job Title: Senior System, DevOps & Software Engineer

Role Summary

Are you passionate about building scalable cloud-native platforms, driving DevOps transformation, and delivering high-quality software solutions? We are looking for an experienced Senior System, DevOps & Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge Telco & Media consulting and systems integration projects. In this role, you will work on designing, implementing, and supporting modern application architectures based on Microservices, Cloud Native, Kubernetes, and GitOps principles , helping customers accelerate their digital transformation journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
• Architect and implement cloud-native applications and microservices-based platforms.
• Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps practices and tools.
• Manage and optimize on-premises and cloud-based IT infrastructure.
• Administer and harden Linux environments and support networking operations.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and container orchestration solutions.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Drive code quality through code reviews, best practices, and design standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10–12+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, Systems Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong programming expertise in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands‑on experience with: Microservices Architecture REST APIs and Event-Driven Systems Docker and Kubernetes AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI Infrastructure as Code and DevOps Automation Strong Linux administration and networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, Load Balancers).
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and software delivery best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant cloud, DevOps, or Kubernetes certifications are highly valued. Previous experience within the Telecommunications, Media, or Cloud Services industry is preferred.
