Do IT Now in Turin, Italy, is hiring a proactive Linux Systems Administrator to join our HPC support team. The role covers installation, configuration, and maintenance of HPC systems based on Linux, and entails designing cluster architectures and ensuring performance.
You will work with application and system engineers, travel for business as needed, and may remote-work from anywhere in Italy after probation. Fluent English and Italian are expected, with 5+ years of experience.
If selected, after a probation period of approximately 2 months in our offices in Turin, the candidate will have the option to work remotely from anywhere in Italy, and will be requested to come to Turin once every 2 months for business meetings.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for Installation, configuration and maintenance of HPC systems based on GNU/Linux distributions as well as all related software components.
The ideal candidate will also be responsible for designing and configuring HPC cluster architectures, including all hardware and software components (servers, high-speed interconnects, storage, queue management tools, etc.).
Working in team with our application and system engineers, the candidate will be
responsible for identifying advanced solutions, installation and configuration of HPC applications, as well as developing applications performance improvements. The candidate will also be responsible for client/user training.
