Michael Page International è alla ricerca di un Platform/DevOps Engineer basato a Roma per supportare lo sviluppo e l’operatività di una piattaforma cloud-native con microservizi.

Il candidato ideale ha 3–6 anni di esperienza in DevOps/backend, forte background Python, competenze AWS, Docker e CI/CD, nonché conoscenze di Linux, networking e osservabilità per garantire sistemi affidabili e ad alte prestazioni.

Competenze

• Laurea in Informatica o ingegneria correlata.
• 3–6 anni di esperienza in software engineering, platform engineering, backend o DevOps.
• Esperienza con Python e architetture a microservizi.
• Conoscenza di AWS, Docker e CI/CD.

Innovative startup specialized in the development of cybersecurity solutions with focus on protecting critical infrastructures is looking for a Platform/DevOps Engineer based in Rome. The resource will participate in the evolution of a microservices-based platform to build production-grade systems capable of supporting demanding computational workloads and low-latency services.

The resource will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of a cloud-native service platform supporting large-scale data processing and real-time operational services. The role is ideal for a software engineer with a strong backend background who has progressively expanded into infrastructure, DevOps, cloud architectures, and platform engineering. They will work on the design and operation of distributed systems where reliability, scalability, security, and performance are critical.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services supporting core business applications
• Contribute to the design and evolution of a scalable microservices architecture
• Build and maintain secure RESTful APIs, API authorization/authentication controls, and service-to-service communication layers (ARCA edit)
• Support the design of distributed systems with a strong focus on reliability, resiliency, and performance
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment environments
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation initiatives
• Manage containerized applications and deployment workflows
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
• Support database design, optimization, and operational management
• Collaborate in the definition of secure-by-design architectures, identity and access management (IAM), and user management workflows. (ARCA edit)
• Contribute to incident analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous platform improvement
• Work closely with engineering teams to operationalize new services and technologies.

Requisiti:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 3-6 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, backend development, or DevOps roles
• Strong software development background with solid engineering principles
• Professional experience with Python
• Experience designing and supporting microservices architectures
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Good understanding of distributed systems principles
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud services and cloud-native architectures
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability practices
• Experience using Git and modern software development workflows
• Nice to Have
• Participation in the design or evolution of a platform architecture from an infrastructure perspective
• Experience with low-latency, high-throughput, or real-time systems
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code approaches
• Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms
• Familiarity with message-driven architectures and asynchronous systems
• Experience supporting AI, machine learning, or data-intensive workloads
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles applied to cloud and distributed environments
• Experience operating business-critical services with high availability requirements.
