Baker Hughes in Bari, Italy, is seeking a Sr Supplier Quality Engineering Manager to lead supplier quality activities for the plant, acting as the single entry point for SQE, and ensuring compliance with engineering and customer specs.

You will drive cross-functional initiatives, review supplier NCs, engage commodity SQEs early, and champion Lean improvements, with a focus on maintaining business continuity and delivering cost savings.

Competenze

• Have a degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Have significant experience in Supplier Quality Engineering.
• Established expertise in Lean manufacturing.
• Have proven leadership capabilities.
• Have proven experience in acting and driving corrective actions.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/9100 requirements.
• English fluent
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Mansioni

• Act as unique entry point SQE for the BH plant needs
• Attend plant production/quality meetings
• Carry out periodical review of Supplier’s critical to Quality NCs
• Early engagement of Commodities SQEs in Product Quality Improvement requested by the Plant
• Drive cross-functional initiatives for manufacturability improvement/cost saving of supplied products
• Guarantying collaboration between functions and locations to ensure compliance to engineering and customer specifications
• Facilitate disposition for Suppliers Deviation Request (SDR) critical to business continuity
• Facilitate Return to Vendors of defective items for repair/replacement
• Support Quality Strategy deployment
