Job summary

Baker Hughes seeks a Senior Engineer, Product Development & New Technology, to lead the design and qualification of Subsea XT systems in a global, cross-functional setting. You will drive innovative engineering from customer requirements to deliverables, coordinating across locations and teams to ensure robust, manufacturable products.

You will mentor engineers, apply DFMA principles, and explore new patent opportunities while staying aligned with market trends and project plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Petroleum engineering.
• Experience in design engineering for subsea production systems.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and 3D modeling.
• Knowledge of GD&T and DFMA principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop Subsea XT technologies to meet customer needs.
• Generate designs, drawings, BOMs, and lead qualification testing.
• Manage scope, budget, risks, and resources across projects.
• Lead global teams and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• Provide technical guidance and review engineering deliverables.
• Explore new opportunities and patent ideas while performing FTO analysis.
