Baker Hughes is seeking a Lead Engineer – Subsea Distribution Systems to own the design and execution of subsea power and control distribution technologies. The role involves leading CAD modelling and documentation, cross-functional alignment, and ongoing collaboration with procurement and sourcing teams.

The candidate should hold a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, be an expert in 3D CAD modelling, and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Expert in 3D CAD modelling and related design practices.
• Subsea equipment knowledge and design methodologies desirable.
• Strong mechanical design background with proven industry experience.
• Proactive with ownership mindset and accountability.
• Strong spoken and written English, with leadership and interpersonal skills.

Mansioni

• Establish technical requirements based on customer specifications and standards.
• Lead design development activities including CAD modelling and documentation creation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align interfaces, design, activities and deliverables.
• Present design outcomes in design reviews as relevant.
• Be accountable for cost-out activities, budget monitoring and engineering plan progress.
• Manage engineering suppliers from a technical perspective, ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Provide engineering support to program management and stakeholders.
• Support the sourcing team through procurement, manufacturing and testing of designed products.
• Provide consultancy advice to the project bid team.
