Job summary

Ping Identity is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Recognize Platform team. You will own the infrastructure powering Ping's authentication and authorization services across production EKS clusters globally, reporting to the Senior SRE Manager.

In a small, senior team of 3 engineers, you’ll have high ownership, short feedback loops, and direct impact on mission-critical identity infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as an SRE/DevOps engineer.
• Strong automation and configuration management skills (Helm, Terraform, Crossplane).
• Hands-on with Kubernetes-based environments (EKS) and GitOps workflows (Flux, ArgoCD).
• Experience with monitoring and incident response tools (New Relic, Splunk, PagerDuty).

Responsibilities

• Drive deployment automation across production and test EKS clusters using GitOps (Flux/ArgoCD).
• Own infrastructure requirements and coordinate maintenance backlog.
• Collaborate with delivery engineers, product owners, and software developers.
• Build a scalable, automated platform foundation across prod and dev environments.
• Integrate AI agents to accelerate engineering workflows from incident triage to deployment.
• Support Ping's authentication and authorization services infrastructure.
