Job summary

Sysdig is hiring a Software Engineer to design, build, and operate identity and access services that every Sysdig engineering team relies on. You will create scalable platform services used by multiple teams and own onboarding for cloud provider accounts across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer designing and shipping distributed services.
• Proficiency in Go or Java and experience with relational databases and messaging systems (PostgreSQL, NATS).
• Experience with AI coding agents (Claude or others) and willingness to leverage them to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate identity and account services (authentication, authorization, user/team directory).
• Build scalable, highly available platform services used by multiple engineering teams.
• Build and maintain cross-product capabilities including automations, analytics system and ticketing integration.
• Own onboarding experience for connecting cloud provider accounts (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent issues.
