Job summary

Sysdig is hiring to strengthen a cross-functional team responsible for metrics collection and ingestion, spanning agents on customer hosts and Kubernetes nodes to backend processing. You will tackle performance, scalability, and correctness challenges while leading design across the agent and backend in collaboration with product and design teams.

You will join a team that values strong collaboration, growth, and clear communication in English.

Qualifications

• Advanced coding skills with 5+ years in Rust, Go or C/C++.
• Strong Linux internals, networking and I/O knowledge.
• Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd, CRI-O) is a plus.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and observability tools.
• Kubernetes experience and cloud provider familiarity (AWS, GCP, Azure) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Join a cross-functional team owning metrics collection end-to-end, from agent to backend ingestion.
• Solve performance, scalability, and correctness issues across the pipeline.
• Lead technical design for features across the agent and backend with product and design input.
• Collaborate with teammates to build the best product possible and continuously improve.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to handle urgent issues.
