LuxExperience is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to build and maintain a scalable, secure Google Cloud Platform foundation supporting multiple engineering teams. Hybrid Italy-based role with permanent contract, reporting to the IT team lead.

You will govern GCP projects, IAM, security guardrails, and automation using Terraform, enabling GKE, BigQuery and Vertex AI while ensuring operational readiness and governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience managing multi-project cloud environments.
• Solid knowledge of IAM, governance, and cloud security principles.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred).
• Good understanding of cloud networking fundamentals.

Responsabilités

• Manage and optimize the GCP structure (projects, folders, IAM, governance policies).
• Ensure secure access management and SSO integration.
• Implement cloud security best practices and compliance guardrails.
• Support networking and connectivity (VPC, firewall rules, routing).

Role Purpose:

Build and maintain a scalable, secure, and well-governed Google Cloud Platform (GCP) foundation to support multiple engineering teams, ensuring strong cloud governance, automation, and operational readiness, while enabling key GCP services such as BigQuery , Vertex AI , and GKE.

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

Starting annual gross base salary: €58,500. Final compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications and objective, gender-neutral criteria applied during the selection process.
