Aman Rosa Alpina seeks an experienced maintenance engineer to manage preventative maintenance and repairs of electrical and building systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, servicing HVAC, and coordinating with external vendors while ensuring safety and cleanliness in all engineering spaces.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in building maintenance, with a focus on luxury environments; English is recommended for guest and staff communication.

Competenze

• Min 5 years' experience in building maintenance, preferably in luxury hotels.
• Strong skills in electrical systems and home automation.
• English language recommended.

Location Overview

Join our team in Aman Rosa Alpina. Since its opening in 1939, Rosa Alpina has offered its guests an unparalleled base for exploring Italy's UNESCO-protected Dolomites, celebrating the history of the property while uniting it with Aman's philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Implement and handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs.
• Diagnose and handle all repairs of systems and equipment, with particular competences in electrical systems, devices, home automation, PLCs, lighting systems, electrical panels and devices, access control systems, and associated, also guiding and coordinating external vendors/contractors. The candidate shall be capable of reading electrical components and placing appropriate orders for new materials.
• Performs scheduled building routine rounds, in particular to all HVAC equipment.
• Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public areas in a timely manner.
• Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Puts extreme care and attention to order and cleanliness in the workshop, technical rooms, office, and other engineering locations. Make sure all plant rooms and workshop are in perfect condition.
• Participate to the daily building maintenance procedures, providing support when and as required.
• Provide minor electrical installations when required.
• Assist with energy conservation programs in the hotel.
• Organize and monitor spare parts inventory, requesting new materials when needed.
• Any other task as it might be required from time to time.

Requirements

• Min 5 years' experience in building maintenance, if in luxury hotels would be a plus.
• Strong skills and competences in electrical systems and home automation.
• English language is recommended.
