OHB Italia is seeking an End-to-End Performance Engineer in Rome, Italy, for the Satellite & Missions Business Unit. You will define, assess, and verify end-to-end system and payload performance across the project lifecycle, collaborating with system, mission, satellite, ground, and operations teams.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in a relevant field, proven experience in performance engineering or systems engineering in space, and fluent English.

Competenze

• Master’s or PhD in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in performance engineering, mission analysis, or systems engineering in space.
• Strong knowledge of electrooptical systems.
• Experience with modelling, simulation, and performance assessment.
• Familiarity with verification and validation for space systems.
• Fluent English.

Mansioni

• Define and maintain end-to-end mission, system, and payload performance budgets.
• Develop models, simulations, and tools supporting design and verification.
• Assess impact of mission, ConOps, and design choices on performance.
• Perform performance analyses and trade studies throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate performance activities across space, ground, and operations.
• Support calibration and validation (Cal/Val) activities.
• Support reviews, assessments, and performance reporting.
• Contribute to proposals and future mission studies when required.
