Ohb Italia seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to craft mechanical solutions for satellite systems and work with cross-disciplinary teams to define requirements. You will create 3D and 2D drawings for space hardware and support fast prototyping in a dynamic environment.

You will collaborate with system, electrical, thermal and structural engineers to ensure performance, reliability and manufacturability, managing documents and component libraries along the way.

Competenze

• Degree in mechanical engineering or related field with hands-on design focus.
• Experience designing mechanical/structural systems for aerospace is a plus.
• Strong ability to gather requirements and translate into specifications.

Mansioni

• Define mechanical design requirements with system engineers.
• Coordinate with electrical and thermal teams to derive inputs.
• Create 3D designs and 2D manufacturing drawings and ICDs.
• Produce project documentation and manage component lists.
• Prototype designs for rapid validation and ensure reliability.
