SITAEL in Italy is seeking a Satellite Architect with 5+ years in Space Systems Engineering to lead system-level design for multi-mission satellites across EO, Telecom, Science and PNT programs.

The role reports to the Satellite Systems Engineering Team Leader and involves defining architectures, managing interfaces, and guiding verification, testing, and in-orbit operations throughout the project lifecycle.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in aerospace engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years in Space Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of satellite system design, architectures and subsystems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Mansioni

• Provide technical leadership for satellite development projects across design, verification, launch and in-orbit operations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities and interfaces between payloads, platforms and ground segments.
• Perform mission analysis, requirements decomposition and flow-down to system elements.
• Define and maintain system requirements, specifications, and verification documents.
• Support AIV/AIT activities and industrialization of product lines.
• Contribute to business development through technical proposals and customer presentations.
• Lead project reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, QR, ORR, FRR).
