Saipem is seeking a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to join the ENCAR Business line in Milano. The role involves designing and integrating rotating equipment for oil & gas and energy projects, with international exposure and potential relocation.

The candidate should have at least 8 years of relevant experience, a Mechanical Engineering degree, and strong MS Office skills. Travel and relocation abroad for projects are expected, with a permanent CCNL Energia e Petrolio contract and a hybrid

Competenze

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in rotating equipment engineering in oil & gas or energy industries.
• English language proficiency (B2/C1).

Mansioni

• Execute project activities within budget, schedule and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with project interfaces and manage information flow.
• Prepare Mechanical Data Sheets, Inspection Data Sheets, Material Requisitions, and Technical Bid Evaluations.
• Manage interfaces with vendors and act as focal point for assigned supplies.
• Follow up vendor documents and participate in factory acceptance tests and site inspections of rotating equipment.
• Provide input for equipment installation, commissioning and start-up activities.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate rotating equipment into the project design.

Purpose of the position:

As SENIOR Rotating Equipment Engineer, you will be part of the ENCAR Business line.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

• Execute the project activities following Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all Project interfaces and supervise in/out information flow.
• Prepare Mechanical Data Sheet, Inspection Data Sheet, Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation
• Manage interfaces with Vendors, being the focal point for assigned supplies
• Execute Vendors’ Documents follow-up
• Participate in factory acceptance tests and site inspections of rotating equipment
• Provide input and recommendations for equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up activities
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and project teams disciplines (process, civil, piping, instrumentation & controls, electrical, metallurgy, projects management, procurement, inspection, logistics, commissioning and construction) to ensure the successful integration of rotating equipment into overall project design

What are we looking for?

Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience: at least 8 years in the same or similar positions with International Main Contracting & Engineering Companies or Rotating Equipment Original Equipment Manufacturer

Languages: English (B2/C1)

Technical Skills: Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering and design of rotating equipment in the oil and gas and energy industry

IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office Tools

Mobility

• Availability to travel for short periods (1 week to 1 Month)
• Availability to be relocated abroad in both International Saipem Engineering Centers and or in Construction Site for a minimum of a year

What else should you know? You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the project assigned.
