Saipem is seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer in Milano to lead project activities, ensuring budget, schedule and quality standards. You will coordinate interfaces, prepare key mechanical documents, manage vendor relations and support installation, commissioning, and start-up of rotating equipment.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, 2+ years in rotating equipment, and English proficiency (B2/C1).

Competenze

• Master's or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years in rotating equipment roles with international contracting & engineering experience.
• English proficiency level B2/C1.

Mansioni

• Execute project activities within budget, time, and quality standards.
• Manage interfaces and information flow with project interfaces.
• Prepare Mechanical Data Sheet, Inspection Data Sheet, Material Requisition, and Technical Bid Evaluation.
• Manage interfaces with vendors and act as focal point for assigned supplies.
• Execute vendors' documents follow-up.
• Participate in factory acceptance tests and site inspections of rotating equipment.
• Provide input for equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integration of rotating equipment into overall project designs.

Purpose of the position

As Rotating Equipment Engineer you will respond to the Head of Mechanical Equipment Engineering department and be part of the Energy Carriers Business line.

How can you support us?

• Execute the project activities following Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all Project interfaces and supervise in/out information flow.
• Prepare Mechanical Data Sheet, Inspection Data Sheet, Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation
• Manage interfaces with Vendors, being the focal point for assigned supplies
• Execute Vendors’ Documents follow-up
• Participate in factory acceptance tests and site inspections of rotating equipment
• Provide input and recommendations for equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up activities
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and project teams disciplines (process, civil, piping, instrumentation & controls, electrical, metallurgy, projects management, procurement, inspection, logistics, commissioning and construction) to ensure the successful integration of rotating equipment into overall project designs

What are we looking for?

Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Mechanical Engineering or related fieldBackground: at least 2 years in the same or similar positions with International Main Contracting & Engineering Companies or Rotating Equipment Original Equipment ManufacturerLanguages: English (B2/C1)Technical/IT Knowledge: Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering and design of rotating equipment in the oil and gas and energy industry

Mobility

• Availability to travel for short periods (1 week to 1 Month)
• Availability to be relocated abroad in both International Saipem Engineering Centers and or in Construction Site for a minimum of a year
