Oversonic Robotics Srl in Italy seeks a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to join the Navigation Team at our Carate Brianza headquarters. You will design and maintain the autonomous navigation stack, enabling safe, robust robot movement in dynamic environments.

The role requires a Master’s degree in robotics or related field, deep expertise in C++/Python, ROS/ROS2 Nav2, SLAM and sensor fusion, plus strong problem-solving and English communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Competenze

• Master's degree in robotics, computer science, automation engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience in autonomous robot navigation software.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python; OOP.
• Deep knowledge of ROS/ROS2 Nav2.
• Experience with SLAM, localization, path planning, and sensor fusion.
• Familiarity with 2D/3D LiDAR, RGB-D cameras, and IMUs.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and code optimization.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Mansioni

• Design and maintain state-of-the-art software for the navigation stack.
• Develop and optimize SLAM/localization algorithms with diverse sensors.
• Implement global/local path-planning and obstacle avoidance; integrate ML models.
• Apply AI techniques to optimize trajectories and real-time decisions.
